Typical project ranges:
Local, corporate, and regional funders: $500–$6,000
Federal, large-scale, or complex grants: $6,000–$20,000+
This model is designed for organizations seeking ongoing grant support, strategic guidance, and priority access throughout the year.
Rather than engaging support one project at a time, the Hybrid Retainer Model reserves a set number of hours each month for your organization. This creates continuity, allows for proactive planning, and ensures you have a trusted grant partner available when questions or challenges arise.
As a retainer client, you receive priority access to Kalen’s services and dedicated monthly support that can be used for grant strategy, research, proposal development, reporting, grant management, coaching, capacity building, and other grant-related needs.
Retainer engagements include a minimum three-month commitment and are invoiced monthly.
